To begin your preparations for the final history exam, you are going to spend a few days reviewing the U.S. Constitution. You are going to make mini movies to teach others about the amendments and the system of checks and balances.
You will use One True Media, a free web resources, to create movies like this one:
The goal is to design educational and exciting video clips. The purpose is to help your classmates (and students in future years) review for the final exam. You will pick your topic randomly. 7E will focus on checks and balances, while 7H will study the amendments.
Your movie will have at least 5 images and at least 2 text slides -- probably more!
You will find pictures and images online using ONLY these two search engines:
You will create text slides in PowerPoint to upload as .jpg pictures.
Please make your movie less than 2 minutes in length.
Do not choose any features that are labeled "premium" (we are only using the free web tools).
Do not choose any images or music or features that are inappropriate for a school setting. Everything in your video should be educational. If you have a question about what is appropriate, ask Mr. Hall.
You should probably choose music that does not have any words, or that is not distracting.
You will embed your movie using the Medium Player in the appropriate spot on this class wiki page.
This easy project will fall in the "Quiz and Writing" portion of our history grade.
